Who We Are
| Concrete Specialists is a small business. We have only five "FULL TIME EMPLOYEES therefore we can insure you receive great quality at a reasonable and low cost. We do "ANYTHING" in concrete both residential and commercial including tear out and replace. We give discounts on driveways - and specialize in residential, commercial driveways, patios, or walks etc. The President of the company is Wendell Johnson. Mr. Johnson is degreed and has been in the concrete business for the better part of 20 years. He brings forth a wealth of experience, knowledge, and depth regarding concrete installations. Mr. Johnson has been in the Houston area for ten years after moving from Phoenix, Arizona and to Phoenix from Kansas City, Missouri. He owned successful concrete installation businesses in both previous cities and moved to take advantage of unique opportunities offered in concrete construction. In Kansas City, Mr. Johnson specialized in commercial work, had up to 85 employees and completed many projects for the city as well as residential applications for many homeowners. He sold his business and moved to Phoenix to assist his son in opening a business there. He then moved to Houston because his family wanted proximity to the gulf and did not enjoy the hot temperatures in Arizona. He takes an active hand in ALL work and is on the job site consistently to insure quality control and that the finished product meets both his and your standards. Mr. Johnson is not only the President of the company, but takes an active role in each concrete installation. |
